700wx Send Text Message links to Outlook Email App

This is my first post, and I've dug through the forums for a while and didn't see a similar problem.

I instaled the Palm Threaded SMS Beta 4 cab to my new Treo 700wx. Also installed the left softkey option so I can go directly to SMS or Outlook Email when I press it. I just finished beaming all my contacts out of my old Treo 700w.

My problem is, when I go to Contacts, select the contact I want, and hit "Send Text Message" it creates a new Outlook Email message instead of a new SMS message.

Is there a registry key I can change to fix this? It's rather annoying. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

That means you didn't install properly. Did you copy the files from the Palm Threaded Cab to the Windows directory, making sure to use Resco Explorer or another file program (not File Explorer)?

Yep, used Total Commander to move everything from the Palm Messaging to Windows directory, over wrote the files when asked, still getting this issue.

I'm with Santos on this one. You must have missed a file. It's very easy to miss a file...but if I recall there are 13 to move/copy. I suggest trying it again.

Thanks guys, I must have done something wrong but I have no idea what. I had already backed my contacts up with ActiveSync so I just did a hard reset and used Resco instead of TC. Working fine now. Thanks again!
