E-mail Problems

I am trying my best to setup my mail.com account to Poutlook with no luck. I'm not sure if I have to pay a fee to use it on my treo 700wx it dosen't say whether we have to pay a fee. I followed the instructions on the palm website on setting up my mail.com so when I'm done setting up it shows that its connecting, logging on and next thing you know, the username, password pops up. I put my username and password and check mark the the save password box, but it keeps popping up to username and password again.

Any suggestions would help...........

The first question is, do they support POP3 or IMAP4?

This is there set up,

Incoming server: pop1.mail.com
Outgoing server: smtp1.mail.com
Use ESMTP

After that, I still get the username and password popup.

I can't find no advanced settings and to be honest, it's becoming frustrating. Can you please guide me........

mail.com

this is what i could find so far:

Mail.com Mail Settings
The Mail.com email service allows you to use POP3 and SMTP servers for accessing your Mail.com mailbox.
Mail.com Mail Incoming Mail Server (POP3) - pop1.mail.com (port 110)
Outgoing Mail Server - use your local ISP SMTP mail server

try a soft reset, then enter everything back in as it states above, then try. after that if it does'nt work correctly i would shoot their tech support an email.

Every detail you have mentioned on how to do the setup is correct. Unfortunately, in order for it to work, you have to buy the premium...

Thank you for your concern. I know that this will help alot of people who have the same problem..

Gmail is the best.
