Green LED blinking for no reason?

I recently installed phoneAlarm, and have been having a problem with the green LED blinking sometimes. When I have a missed call or voicemail or something, and the green LED blinks to tell me, even after I check it sometimes it keeps blinking.

Other times it doesn't, but it's happened 4 times already. I have no missed calls or other alerts, and it's just blinking. Only way I could shut it off was by doing a soft reset.

Any ideas how to fix this, or why its happening?

I have never encountered this issue. I get a notification, the LED blinks and PA shows the details of whatever was received, then I click on PA to read my SMS, e-mail, etc. and then the LED turns off.

Weird...

Why doesn't the green LED blink every second or so when you have service? I believe the 650 did this.

I think even the 700w does it, however, I think there's more users that don't like it than users that like it so Palm did not include this 'feature' on the 700wx.
