resco explorer has a today plugin where you just select what you want to add- programs, documents, folders, whatever.

thanks for the info, i have resco today plugin on the today screen for the shortcuts. i am however hoping to save that space by putting those shortcuts in the system tray bar since as far as i know for the most part it is mostly emtpy.

so still looking for a tray app that i can launch apps from icons in the tray, and i would love to be able to put the date in there as well.

thanks for everyones help

I recommend it too, love iLauncher and it has so many different ways of customization.
