Distro List for SMS?

I send text messages to my staff all the time but dread having to go into contacts and choose each of them for the message. I've got that I can send sms to multiple folks, but is there a way to have a distro that would add all of them like in outlook? I've tried making a contact with the number being all of their numbers divided by ; but it won't send the message :roll: Does anyone have a quick fix? I know there are programs for it out there....but while I am lazy, I refuse to pay for my laziness! :D

I'm sorry I do not know of such app. I assume that by 'distro' you mean distribution list?!?!?

I know what you mean though, basically you want to create a group of contacts and send a message to the whole group instead of contact by contact right?

Yes, a distribution list. Its just difficult to have to continue adding person after person, it would be nice just to have a group that includes all these folks!

I did a little google search and found http://www.gpcarreon.com/?p=466... a MortScript script. I haven't tried it so I don't know how capable it is, nor do I know if it works with the Palm Threaded SMS app, but here's the script:

This appears to allow you to create different distro lists (in this case, Friends, Foes, etc.) through a menu system. You'd just need to hard code the phone numbers into each list or "case".
