Treo 700wx Lag

I know this may be a vague question but I was curious to know any common ways to reduce lag from my Treo.

I was noticing serious lag to where I had to do a soft reset. Is this common in Treos?

Could it be that I have too many applications on my Treo?

I currently have:
-PPCGeeks.com Increase Max Connection
-AOL IM 2.0
-Palm Messaging
-Arcsoft Arcsoft MMS
-reg edit SMSNoSentMsg
-Sprite Backup
-Astraware Cubis
-Resco Explorer
-.Net CF 2.0
-Handmark On Demand

and a couple MP3 songs...

I tried to search the site to find a page where there was basic ways we could clean/delete files or any other way to troubleshoot lagging.

I also got an error message a couple times in regards to "messagingapp.exe"..

any thoughts? :|

cf net 2.0 is slowing you down for sure

I would highly recommend investing in SKTools and/or Memmaid. Both of these programs will help keep your Treo and future PDAs funning very smooth. :)

how can i go by downloading memmail?

also.. do you suggest deleting "cf net 2.0"?

if so, what should I replace it with?

I'm now getting a popup saying:

"Storage Memory:

Storage memory is critically low. If you do not increase storage memory, you may not be able to start some programs. Use File Explorer to delete files you no longer need, or move some files to a storage card."

Kinda self explanatory but what do you guys suggest me deleting first?

first delete net 2.0 you dont need it for nething ur running and it slows ur stuff down.. prolly delete the mp3s and would suggest getting a SD card.. def find memmaid or sktools it will allow you optimize your phone

What does .Net CF 2.0 do for you?

Pibe38 02-01-2007 12:32 PM

Some apps require it to be installed because they programmed under it and they need it in order to run.

And if you've been doing a lot of browsing I would clear out your temp files. Which of course can easily be done via SK Tools or MemMaid.
