treo 700wx - disable start menu click sound?
 

this is probably really simple, but I can't seem to find the right setting to remove the annoying menu clicks - it doesn't appear as an event under sounds & notifications. can someone help?

Under Sounds & Notifications uncheck Events (warnings, system events). I tested it, it will turn it off.

Are you sure this doesn't shut off ringtones or other 'events' as well? I wonder what counts as a warning or system event. I've been missing calls since I tried this.

I can't be 100% sure what they categorize as Events. I only tested for the Start menu click sound. Have you tried disabling it and calling yourself?

Fortunately calling myself does still sound the ringer with Events turned off. I think we have a viable solution here, thanks guys!
