How to use WMP with screen off, and keyguard on?

I like to use my Treo 700wx as an mp3 player, but I can't find a way to get it to continue playing music with Windows Media Player while disabling the touch screen and keyboard (so it's safe in my pocket) and also shut off the screen and keyboard backlight (to save battery). Is there an easy way to do this, or do I need to switch to a different media player?

Currently I can switch to the today screen to have it shut off the keyboard lights and screen backlight (though it doesn't shut the screen all the way off), but the touch screen remains active and I keep accidentally making calls to my quick dial contacts when it bumps around in my pocket. Any solutions?

The 700wx locks are not very good and thought out. With a quick search here are some programs to try, I use the second one.

And this will help with the KB light.

You can assign a shortcut in Windows Media player to shut off the display, so coupling it with this program may be a good workaround. Have you had a chance to test out this program yet?
