Processes Running

I have a 700w thru verizon...

BTW - this place is great! I just got my 700 last week and have been on this website nonstop (I should be doing homework and housework!).

I have used the hidelogo program - works great!
I have also disabled my 'message sent' notification - thanks!

After reading, it seems like a lot of you us sktools - which I purchased. I kow that on my laptop, I just went through and tried to make it run better, you can look at all the proceses that are running - find out if they are needed, and delete if they are garbage. How do I know what processes are garbage on my 700w? Are there any from maybe running/downloading programs that I might later remove? Memory is like gold when it comes to this phone. Just wanted to see what else anyone would suggest for 'cleaning up'. I am by no means a tech-guru person and don't want to screw anything up on my phone so the sktools scares me a bit (except for the auto clean and free up ram).

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Well the first thing I would do is backup your device to your pc. Look through the "Software Forum" for some discussions about backing up. Next I would get comfortable with what SK Tools can do. There's a function in SK Tools that is called "Processes" and it will allow you to view and manage running processes. Most of these are needed to support your device so I wouldn't mess with them. However if you do accidently do something you can restore from your backup.

I'd also find a good task mananager (again look in the "Software Forum").

If you're worried about memory look for a program called upx4ppc..this will allow you to compress the size of some programs and free up memory.

Don't hesitate to ask more questions...
