Sprite Backup help

What do I need to do in Sprite backup settings to get my phone to be EXACTLY as it was before the restore? The last time I did a backup/restore, the phone appeared to look the same with installed program icons there, but when I pressed them it said file couln't be found and something about reinstalling programs.

That's odd, I run it, with compression on and it restores to exactly the way it was.
Actually, my last one broke and Sprint Insurance replaced it. I put the backup into the new one, and only had to reinstall 7 games. All else worked like on the old one.

Were you using something like upx4ppc? If you had compressed some files and hadn't uncompressed them prior to restoring this might be causing a problem?
Just a thought.
Late,
Coz

I don't use upx, but had a ton of regular programs and 60 games besides the 7 from 1 company (games are installed on sdcard) restored all including registrations, etc. A few in Main Mem were WisbarAdvance, Weather Panel, Ilauncher, PocketBreeze, A6Times, Calligrapher, HiKeyboard,MemMaid, Phone Alarm, PDANet, Photo Contacts Pro, PiePlus, Pocket Secure and more. Everything was back and running.
The only thing other was Storage, Sprite doesn't back that up, so had to redo that too.
