Help me with an specific email solution -- I did search

ANY ADVICE? PLEASE HELP!

I have a 700wx with sprint. I use it for data only... no voice.

For my job, I need to be able to receive emails and click an embedded link as quickly as possible. If I'm not the first to click the link then someone else gets the order and I don't get paid. I have to receive the email within 1-2 minutes tops, but I prefer real time. Replying to the email is not required, so outgoing address is unimportant.

Our corporate email is not on an Exchange server, but I can check it with Outlook from home via IMAP. I cannot forward the corporate email account directly.

Is my only solution to Sync every 60 seconds, or is there a way to get email pushed from an exchange server (such as mail2web) without being able directly forward the email from the corporate server?

I can live with :
terrible battery life from syncing every minute,
OR with leaving a home PC with Outlook running all day
(perhaps setting outlook rules to auto-forward to the mail2web account),
OR paying a nominal monthly fee for this exact service.

I cannot live with receiving emails 2 minutes too late.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

Have it sync every minute, on the setup, under "options", check the box that says "connect & check for messages every:" and type 1 (minute) in it. It will drain the battery a little more, but it shouldn't do it too much. I think thats your best bet.

You really need push mail....

It's pretty much instant (maybe a minute delay)

I know I need push, but it doesn't appear to be an option with my situation.
Until I have a better solution, I will set it to check every minute and keep an extra battery handy.

Thanks for all the replies, keep the advice coming.

i beleive mail2web has something that comes with the free account even, i think it starts with an E. anyway instead of forwarding your mail to m2w, it gets your mail from that server. check it out. if i remember the name ill update it

Do you guys like VGSmail?
I downloaded the trial and now I'm receiving the emails within 5 seconds of sending, faster than my desktop pc receives them.
But I don't want to depend on it in the field if there are issues.
THANKS AGAIN

You can try Emoze it supports treo700w/wx. It's free.
I used it before they were supported and i did not have any problems. I had to stop when I dropped my data plan for awhile. I did not see any lag in my email, but I don't remember the settings that well.

try here.Emoze

Definitly don't try emoze if you depend on reliable service.

Plus its not real push mail. (as active sync)

VGSmail is working great for me.
I never stopped to think the fastest I can receive the emails at home is ~1 minute with Outlook autochecking.
Now I get the emails even faster on my Treo.
For now, problem solved.
