Treo 700wx SOFTWARE Question

Hey Everyone,

Does anyone know if it's possible to DOWNGRADE the software on the Treo 700wx (Sprint)? I currently have the v1.15 installed and would like to switch back to an earlier version.

I know that I share the same frustrations of others on here and in other forums...reference the functionality that the v1.15 update disabled.

I just wasn't sure IF there was a way to change the software and IF there WAS a way, the STEPS to take to complete it.

Can I ASSume that maybe a HARD reset would bring it back to whatever the software version was installed at the factory?

I have had my Treo 700wx for a little under a year now. Not sure what software version came with it.

Any and all help is appreciated.

And no...a hard reset will not restore to an earlier version.

What exactly are the issues that you have with the new version?

i have the same problem. My Sprint treo phone is on cricket. I updated the phone to 1.15 iand it stopped working. i need help.

A bit more info is needed when you say "stopped working". What exactly does that mean? Is it a data connection problem, radio problem, etc.?

You might be looking at a hard reset in your future.

Why would you update a Cricket 700wx with a Sprint ROM?
