TV for Sprint Palm 700wx

Just upgraded from Sprint treo 650 to 700wx, wanted Windows mobile.Tried Mobi tv, they have it for 700wx but not compatible with Sprint. Anyone know of any 3rd party software I can use? HELP Thanks!

What do you mean MobiTV is "not compatible with Sprint"?

It's a recurring month fee ($10) through Handango and works just fine on the 6700 and 700wx.

Real question is:

a) Why do you want Sprint TV

b) Why would you want MobiTV

Just get a Slingbox and be done with it.

Malatesta. In answer to your ? on why I wanted MobiTV. Had it on my Treo 650 and liked it, sometimes I have time on my hands and just want to veg out and watch some TV in my truck at work (Cable TV Tech).
And because the kids working at Sprint store told me you could not get TV for the 700wx. If you tell me I can't do something, I'll figure out a way of doing it!!
The way to get MobiTV for your Sprint 700wx,
Go to the MobiTV site,download 700p for Sprint (700wx is not listed under Sprint) Have Phone connected to ActiveSync. Install. It won't show up on your device until you soft boot device ( remove battery and replace )

MobiTV is okay. I've used it before and I understand why someone would want it, but at $120 a year, you're just shy of paying for a Slingbox which is a million times better (full cable TV, excellent quality, use your Tivo or DVD too).

BTW, if you go to MobiTV's site do not download the version for the Sprint 700p. That app is designed for the Palm OS. You need to download a version for WM5, that's why you can't get it to work...

And I agree, Slingbox rules!!!
