Treo 700wx search bar

Is there a way to remove this stupid search bar on the top of my screen? I looked in the today setting and its not listed. It takes up space I would like to use.

thats odd it should be listed in the today Settings/Items and you should be able to Uncheck it - I Use mynes here and there and when i want more screen.space i simply uncheck it and its gone.. but that seems odd that its not there...

But Try Clicking from the Today Screen Menu - Preferences-Today settings-and it should load everything you have on ure todaii screen...

For the contact Lookup Field, click on right softkey Menu - then choose Hide Lookup Field.

Dude! yes! thank you. I kept looking all over int the settings and today menu.
