Treo 700 WX receiving text messages multiple times?

I have been receiving the same text messages alot more than once is there anyway to stop this?

Domski- Unfortunately there is currently no way to correct this. This happens when the sms is sent from the Sprint network to your phone, but your phone does not respond (transparent to the user) telling the network the phone received the sms. After a period of time, the Sprint network re-sends the message because it thinks it previously failed. This often happens when your phone receiving a low signal and may be on and off the network (in/out of service). I see this happen often when the treo user stores their phone in a pocket or purse.
