does anyone know how to get a bluetooth dun with the 700wx and a laptop?

look for a program called PDAnet to avoid tethering charges and for BT DUN.

is that the only way....because i have a phone as modem plan and dont mind....when i go through the registry it mentions under ext. modems of a bluetooth dun and was wondering how to stimulate that....can anyone help?

unfortunately I have never used DUN before in my life on any device, so I'm not much of help here.

However there is this thread:

It seems iffy on getting DUN out of the box to work. OTOH, pdanet is supposed to much easier to setup/get working.

I split this off because it wasn't relevant to the Tip & Tricks thread. Your question will get a lot better exposure outside of that thread and hopefully someone who has done it can help you out.

I don't believe I've seen any type of BT DUN connection other than that provided by PDANet though.
