pre issue

ok i dont know if anybody else has this issue with their pre or not, but when i slide the keyboard shut quickly, compared to nice and gingerly it essentially shuts off the phone (the screen goes black atleast) and needs to be reset, is there a fix for this ? i love my pre and this is one thing thats kinda killing it for me, also there any good hack out there yet, or all just homebrew apps for now ?

Re: pre issue

This is a known issue that's been discussed before. It is a loose battery. Take your device to a Sprint Store, tell them your issue, and ask them to swap your battery. Batteries on some of the shipped device were small and lose contact. A temporary solution, which I did, is to slip a piece of paper between the top of the battery and the Pre. Good luck.

Re: pre issue

Re: pre issue

Do the paper thing for now. If it works take it to the Sprint store like I mentioned. When I took mine in they didn't question it. They are aware of the issue.
