palm pre demo! NEED HELP
 

So I bought a palm pre from cl, it turns out its a demo after the sprint store looked up the info for it on their servers. Everything works great but the stupid demo software is still there and i want to just erase it, does anyone have any suggestions, im running the old 1.03 webos btw, thanks guys

Try updating the OS and see if that works. If it doesn't try Nxtech3's instructions to reflashing the ROM here:

+1 on the above. Or just take it to the Sprint Store and have them clear it out.

if its a demo unit, its stolen. demo units have different skus and arrived weeks before the retail units, so its not like there could have been a mixup.

the newest software takes that demo program out. that was one of the complaints of every sprint store out there lol.
