Character Counter Mod Patch
 

okay some of you might have be having a problem doing this mod as where the text messaging app works but wen u tap on convo the message app would freeze as for me ive had that problem too. ive finally got the codes to work a while back, so here is the patch file to make it easy for everyone to do and so it is easy to reapply after an OTA update.

Alternately u can put these files in there directory:

/usr/palm/applications/com.palm.app.messaging/

app/utilities/CharacterCounter.js

app/controllers/chatview-assistant.js

app/controllers/compose-assistant.js

stylesheets/messaging.css
