The Palm Pre might just give the iphone a run for its money, at least in the games department. In this Palm Pre clip, you'll see "PrBoom running through SDL which utilizes directfb as the bacend."
Thanks to some handy hackers, the Palm Pre has been shown capable of playing a hardware-accelerated version of Doom and it looks pretty good.
