Re: Pre on Family Plan

All PDA's from now on will require the Everything Data plans or the EPRP plans.

Read the adventure part of my review in the Official Palm Pre User Review Thread for more info.

I also have a family plan with 4 lines. I didn't have to update my whole "family" onto a new plan, but I did have to get an "everthing" plan for myself. Now I have two different plans under my account. It worked out for me because my other lines don't use data.

Call telesales tell them you were on SERO and were told you could upgrade to a EPRP plan but the store wouldn't let you. I called 888-882-4030

Re: Pre on Family Plan

the only bad thing about EPRP plans is that you cant have no corp discounts on it. so if you have one you will lose it...

True but 200 extra minutes at .20 a minute is $40 more even with a discount that makes the eprp a better choice for me. Plus I feel better since I dont' work for the company anymore that I was getting a discount for, so I can feel a bit better about myself.

Re: Pre on Family Plan

Forgive my n00biness....

From what I read, if I have a family plan (69.99 a mo) + Sprint power pack on one line (29.00 a mo), I cannot use the pre without changing my plan?

Is that the old family plan with no texting? Unfortunately, as with the Android devices, you will need to upgrade to an Everything Data plan.

Re: Pre on Family Plan

129.99 fam plans includes 2 lines any mobile any time free n&w at 7 unltd data unltd text nav tv radio 1500 landline share minutes and nobody calls landlines anymore let alone over 29 hrs a mo. so essentially an unltd plan...really is a great deal i would just do it.
