yes... the title says it all. has anyone been successful in transfering contacts from your windows mobile phone to your palm pre yet?

back up contacts to outlook, export .csv, the link to your palm profile contains a section to upload .csv i believe

This is the way I did it. It brought over all my Outlook contacts, tasks and calendar.

Your other option is to save all your contacts to your gmail account and sync that way.

I believe there is also an app out called PocketMirror that also help with migration.

Yeah, there's an outlook syncing program now out for the Pre so you can potentially use that. They did it in store for me though.

I had all of my contacts and calendar for my diamond liked to gmail through google sync. When I set up my palm profile in the sprint store using gmail, it automatically downloaded all of my contacts including their pictures.

I didn't even realize it had done it until a phone call came through while we were still setting it up, and I saw the picture and name pop up.

Talk about easy, although you would have to have your contacts linked to gmail before you activate the pre.

I also did it this way and it was so easy. Uploaded calendar, contacts and tasks in less than 2 minutes. I've been spot-checking my entries and so far so good. :)
