OpenSSH for Wireless File Transfers
 

Anyone here play with OpenSSH to transfer files over wifi to their Pre?

Rod Whitby of WebOS-Internals has posted some instructions here: http://forums.precentral.net/2145792-post6.html

It takes a little more work than Rod's instructions but once you have it working, it's pretty damn slick.

i tried. finally got in with a user i created but couldnt write anything (using winscp) . ive given up on it untill i get the patience to try again., this was 100x easier to do on iphone (especially since it allowed you to ssh into it as root)

I'm using the user name "root" which I believe gives you root access so you can write to the phone.

mine will not let me in as root.
