Is it possible to download Palm Pre Games with out going through the app store? Like IPhone users that have "jail broke" iphones...

I don't think that is possible right now. Everything is on preware on the homebrew side and everything else is in the store. I don't think you can get the ipk's from anywhere else. I hope it filters through some other channels though.

not true..I had a pre months ago and ipk's can be had outside the catalog. It CAN be done, just don't ask me how. :)

Downloading palm pre games without going through the application store is not possible. Other way is application catelog. Above user suggest a very good and best informations about it.

I hate to say that all of you are wrong but you can install games without going to the app store. Being doing so since I picked up a second hand Pre. I personally have a few games installed that way myself.
