Contacts from WM phone
 

Is there an easy way to transfer my contacts from my touch vogue to the palm pre. I'm hoping I don't have to retype all my contacts. On my vogue I use PIM backup to backup my contacts, but I don't think palm has a PIM backup program does it?

I tried following those instructions and it wont sync. My phone just keeps asking for the username and password for syncing which I put in and it doesn't work. Is there another option?

Do you have your contacts anywhere else? Outlook for example or do you only have them on your Vogue?

Yes I just sync them with outlook last night. Can the palm syn with outlook.

With a 3rd party program like "Missing Sync".

I am almost 100% sure that the Palm Pre does sync with outlook contacts..

I have not used Missing Sync but that should work. I initially used Pocket Mirror and I did get all my contacts out of Outlook this way. Another option is to export your contacts to a .csv file then upload it to a gmail account. Then add the gmail acount to your Pre.

I also used Pocket Mirror the first time to sync, but I have everything on Google now and it is awesome!
