HTC Eris & Moto Droid street tomorrow

I called my local store and spoke to the manager who confirmed that the Droids will not be released until Friday, even though he did receive the initial shipment of both phones. He did say that he might let me play with them when I go into the store this afternoon. He also said that he thinks that he might have the holiday phone guide in the boxes marked "Do not open until 11/6/09". He said that he's going to look.
So I broke down and called Verizon back and the clueless voice on the other end of the phone line said, "I have no information on that." So I asked him about the holiday phone guide and he replied, "I have no information on that."

just got off phone with verizon and they still are showing n/a for pricing and info on the droid, so i guess i call back really early tomorrow morning (gonna try about 2am)
cant wait to get one in my hands
