I guess it will be a matter of time before google makes it available on all platforms (Android, WM, WebOS). I would bet they skip Apple, just for fun.

Also, for those Hero users, or potential Hero users, the Hero will be receiving the 2.0 (eclair) upgrade. It's on HTC's twitter feed.

that's one of the sickest things I've seen in quite some time. Satellite and street view integration...wow.

Well that does it. I was on the fence about switching to an android phone, but as soon as sprint has a phone on 2.0, it's mine.

This could be google's "ace up their sleeve".

I'm sure they could easily port it over to other platforms. But with such a big stake in Android, they might wait a bit...

I'm sure they are not in any hurry, esp with the iphone.

I dont look for it to be ported anytime soon. The only thing I really hate about it... considering i've used the street view is some of the images are years old and you will look like you're not actually where you are lol. The google image near my parents house has a blank field still where a neighborhood was built like 3 years ago.

GSM for now. Nothing has been said for CDMA yet.
