Probably because of coverage maps like the one linked below. T-Mobiles website states that they only have 3G coverage in 113 cities in the entire United States. I'm in Lubbock Texas, not a huge metro area, but there's over 200,000 people here and a Major College (Texas Tech).

I live in Atlanta and here out of all the carriers T-Mobile has the worst coverage by far. I had them and I had to sit my phone by the window just to get a bar.

Yeah the problem is T-Mobile amount of towers compared to Sprint and Verizon is a joke.

very true. I'm in Pittsburgh, metro region population of 2 million. Still Edge?? That's why I left t-mobile for Sprint last year. They keep telling me it's coming soon but a year later still nothing. Getting this phone with their network is fine so long as you don't value data services.

Re: HTC HD2 Headed to T-Mo USA by end of next month

Fair enough. I can say T-Mobile is not a problem for me in Denver, pretty decent 3G coverage here so I don't mind switching. When I was traveling all over the country for work, I had Verizon and i know their coverage was unbeatable. I'm happy with Sprint right now but I'll switch to T-mo the day the HD2 drops since I'm not traveling anymore.

Re: HTC HD2 Headed to T-Mo USA by end of next month

It's nice to be back in SoCal, as the big 4 all have 3G. So I will be picking up the HD2 when it launches, and move one of my Sprint lines over to T-Mobile. It will be nice to have good signal in my house, and I hope usable signal out where my mom lives.
