Re: hands on hd2 [leo]
Nope. I have seen several towers put up in the last half of this year in Haven, Yoder, and near Nickerson just here in Reno County alone.
True. So would Verizon. |

Re: hands on hd2 [leo]
As much as I'd like to be excited by the HD2, tiny capacity battery + ginmormous screen + 1GHz CPU = uber short battery life.
I'm very happy with my Touch Pro 2 now. Although, I'm sure Sprint would end up spec'ing a bigger battery with their version of the HD2 most likely. |

Re: hands on hd2 [leo]
They are probably gonna put something in there for battery life after the abominable life of the TP1/D1.

Re: hands on hd2 [leo]
Like what? A magical energy expander? Battery technology hasn't really come very far in the last few years. My primary concern with the HD2 is definitely battery life. A tiny battery + a giant screen + fast proc = poor battery life. There's not going to be any magic, it's going to suck pretty hard. That said, I'm still getting it on Day 1 from whichever carrier brings it on board.

Re: hands on hd2 [leo]
No like improve the screen. I'm just guessing but wouldn't capacitive screens take less power because they don't have to be as bright?

Re: hands on hd2 [leo]
dont like capacitive screens but i may be getting this one anyway...(although i only have the iphone screen to compare to...maybe they dont all suck?)
