Re: anyone use powermat?

The only way with the laws of physics and electronics is to use an inverter to convert an electric signal to a magnetic field then use another inverter to pick it back up and put it back into electricity that I know of.

Re: anyone use powermat?

I thought my palm pre was my first inductive device, but I forgot about my toothbrush. This is one of my favorite features of the pre, no more broken micro (or mini) USB slot! Wish every phone had this feature, match made in heaven for phones!

Re: anyone use powermat?

I still hope Nikolia Tesla's dream of wireless electicity transmission actually takes hold. His dream was to completely eliminate the electrical grid, and replace it with wireless power. Put up an antenna, and you get electricity for free out of the atmosphere. Electricity would be "too cheap to meter", and available for free. The man was a visionary of his time, and still remains so.
