Palm P120 and C40 show up in Sprint's inventory system

The 120 could be the rumored Eos phone. I wonder what the C40 would be?

Inventory systems seem to be a pretty good source of information about cell phones nowadays and the fact that you are reading this story clearly confirms this statement. What you can see below is an image of Sprint’s inventory management system that shows there are a total of three codenamed Palm devices. Of course, the first one, the P100, is the Pre with its price tag of $549.99. However, there is no word on the nature of the P120 and the C40. One thing we can say here is that we expect this P120 to have something in common with the P121 found in Verizon’s inventory system. Could it be the Eos? And what is the C40 then? We hope answers are just an inch away now.

Whatever it is, I'm thinking its insignificant.

Speculation across several forums is that it's an updated Pre. Perhaps a 16GB model. If this were an entirely new device (at least one that people cared about), I think we would have heard more about it.

Hopefully with the new palm devices coming out, they won't limit them to a SEP. I am looking to move to either Android or Palm, but am also reluctant to leave my sero plan behind.

Here is my take:

The new devices are listed as the Palm 120 and the Palm C40. Sprint's current Palm Pre is listed as the Palm P100. We know Verizon is receiveing the P101VZW and the P121VZW. It was thought that the P121VZW was the upcoming Palm Eos. Now speculation is that the P121VZW is another version of the Palm Pre, perhaps one with more storage capacity, and the Palm C40 may now be the Eos.

Anything bigger than the Pre I can consider it.
