Motorola's 2 New Android Phones and Specs!

Motorola will soon be introducing two new Android phones for Verizon and T-Mobile.

The Verzion device (called the "Sholes") will focus on gameing, while T-Mobile's device (called the "Morrison") will have GPS and many other iPhone features.

The Sholes will be running Googles Android 2.0 (Eclair). The powerhouse Sholes will be highly optimized for the new ARMv7 architecture of Texas Instruments 600-MHz OMAP3430 processor. The Sholes will make extensive use of the NEON instruction set found in teh ARMv7 architecture. this will allow an increase to DSP and media processing throughput by up to 400 percent.

Sholes will also offer 256 MB of RAM, 512 MB of ROM, a 5-megapixel camera with video all showcased on a 3.7-inch touch-sensitive display (854 by 480 pixels and 16 million colors).

The Morrison will reportedly use Qualcomm's 528-MHz MSM7201A CPU, the same as T-Mobile's current G-1 mobile phone. It will also feature 256 MB of RAM, 512 MB of ROM and will support microSDHC cards of up to 32 GB and have a 320 by 480 HVGA display. Its 5-megapixel camera has an image capture resolution of 2,560 by 1,920 pixels and boasts a 5.4x digital zoom and video recording.
