Re: Sprint to have Android phone this year
I was thinking of posting it earlier
but damn i was looking forward to some good news like this. I sure hope SERO is gonna be able to be activated under those android phones. I guess those rumors about the HTC HERO being tested were true.

Re: Sprint to have Android phone this year
The interface looks awesome, but I bet Android and Sense UI end up getting ported over to the other phones that have the WVGA screen. If they can make Android usable on the old Vogue it should be even easier to port to either the Omnia 2 or TP2. I just dont think I could bypass the 3.6 inch and larger WVGA screens just for a UI. I'll have to see one in person, it is at least as good as the iphone screen.

Re: Sprint to have Android phone this year
I believe that any phone that is advertiszed as a social networking phone will not be on SERO, but on one of the Everything Data plans.

Re: Sprint to have Android phone this year
Don't expect to use the phone on SERO, it is a premier phone and I can guarantee you that it will require an everything plan. I work at a Sprint store here in Houston and I've seen the phone already, it's not the Hero like everybodys been talking about, it's the jasper that was on the leaked 2009 lineup, it is a very beautiful phone, it has a 3.4 inch screen, 3.5 mm jack, the new sense ui, and a slide out keyboard. It will be their premier phone for the winter holiday because that's when the pre exclusivity will end.
