Specs say both , I have not heard that this could have both not enough room in phone all the parts for both and have not seen a switch to change to either or.

The device is expected to be launched in mid-June after the release of the Pre with dual-mode GSM/CDMA radio for international roaming, 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, accelerometer 3.6 inch WVGA display with a tilt mechanism similar to the Kaiser, microSDHC expansion slot, TV output, and dual-microphone speakerphone.

Even though it appears that the device is physically able to use both CDMA and GSM, good luck getting Sprint to activate a phone that is not one of theirs.

But you will care when you order something that doesn't have the CDMA radio. The international version does not to the best of my knowledge.

I think you guys are mixing up WCDMA with CDMA.

This is a GSM device that supports WCDMA (used internationally). This is VERY different from CDMA. It will not work on a CDMA carrier (Verizon, Sprint, etc).

You'll have to wait for a Sprint-branded or VZW-branded device.
