Verizon XV6800 Sneak peak

For all you Apache fans out there, I thought this would be of interest to you, especially if your using the Verizon Wireless service.

Does anyone have a firm date when Verizon will release the 6800 yet?

Rumors say mid October. There is no such thing as a firm date with Verizon unless they announce it, which they haven't.

I heard Octobor. I know for a fact that 'some companies' have a Verizon xv6800 for
testing purposes on their Exchange servers.

Considering that I'll order one the day it's available a real world sighting
was encouraging.

I played with the Sprint version over the weekend, I'm really not fond of pull out keyboards, it seems solid though. I can't get over not having a D-Pad for navigation and the pull out keyboard though to go to a 6800, even if it will have WM6.. For those of you who don't mind that stuff, its a great little device, solid, compact and WM6 looked nice, didn't look like much had changed. I also played with an Alltel one too, with WM5. Same thing....

No D-Pad? Are you sure your talking about the right phone? The Mogul has a D-Pad.
