WM 6.5 UI explained

During an otherwise dry TechED conference panel about Windows Mobile 6.5 development, Senior Project Manager Loke Uei Tan made a surprising admission: 6.5's semi-vaunted new interface was severely rushed, and isn't even finished.

Re: WM 6.5 UI explained

it sounds discouraging to me. From what I can tell from the article, it seems they wanted to go more in depth with the whole UI, but instead prioritized, and only put a few of the upgrades that they wanted to implement. And, it doesn't seem like they're going to update it much more from what we've already seen.

as expected, rushed into production... leaving it up to hackers to pick up the slack... about par for the course

I also agree... and 6.5 has so much potential. But right again many have to pick up the slack as puff stated. Funny that sometimes they do a better job.

Let see what happens.

Re: WM 6.5 UI explained

why does M$ have the power and talent to crush everyone in every single way yet they always hype up to pull this crap....?

Yes, im thankful than there are 3rd party companies that patch up the sloppiness of M$, as well as PPCGeeks and XDA but it really doesnt help the image of WinMo itself

ugh.... WM7 is your last chance before you go down the gutter in the consumer market
