As found here, it seems that Microsoft may indeed lay claim to at least partial ownership of Multi-Touch Patents...

Its just a matter of time now. I also like what the one commenters said:

I don't know why I like what he said but whatever. This is Apple's fault, tough break fellas.

Now apple must innovate with something else since this was in my opinion the great advantage they had...great news for us users,competition is always welcome.
With the new processors coming to WM devices like Tegra and others pushing the user experience to a whole different level(multi-tasking of heavy processes,full flash experience,low battery drain,fantastic 3d UI,etc) they really need to bring something new to keep selling.
