thats not right now we got to go buy another phone I was going to buy the tp2 but now they are telling you if you want 6.5 you got to buy a new one thats crazy with all the money they are getting out of us we still don't get what we need from them well I will just look in to getting a IPhone

Uh, HTC has said that the Diamond2 and TP2 will be upgraded to WM 6.5. You won't have to purchase a new phone.

I was talking about my tp1 why can't we upgrade tp1 its a waste of time to keep up with the phone war at the end of the day the IPhone is the best phone out there no matter how hard we try we can't beat it. now they got the td2 and tp2 coming out only diff is a bigger screen wow tell me what can tp2 do that the tp1 can't ?

well, that's not really the point, but i think the diamond 2 is actually a decent step up.

also, in an attempt to keep this on topic, the TP1, via ppcgeeks and xda, will most likely have ROMs carrying 6.5 if 6.5 offers anything other than eye candy.

p.s. here's an example. once the iphone becomes as old as the apache, lets see it add the equivalent of WM6.1...

i think the iphone is over rated, because it doesnt welcome third party applications

I agree completely, the iPhone is over rated. In fact, I am pretty sure most everyone one here could have bought an iPhone for the price of our Diamonds and TPs and had some money left over for lunch.

And given that Apple is now making third party headset manufacturers install the Apple chip so their head phones will work with the new shuffle gives me even less incentive to be come an iFanboy. Look up smothering, obsessive control in the dictionary and the Apple logo pops up... No thank you!
