I will wait for solid state versions. I personally don't like any memory with moving parts on something that moves around a lot.

Im with you, seems like a good drop would bust that thing to smitherines on the inside, still a cool product though. What would really be crazy is if it were possible to have a wifi or bluetooth harddrive that u could keep near you but dosent have to be connected to the actual unit, that would be awesome.
