SonyEricsson X1 Xperia coming to AT&T
 

SonyEricsson X1 Xperia has just pas*ed the FFC and is getting ready for AT&T. It will be dubbed as X1a. Euro version is X1. T-mo users cannot use it coz it lack the bands T-mo is using. T-mo users can buy the euro unlocked version tho but there is no 3G support coz t-mo uses 1700 band for 3g. It is also rumored that X1a will be named "the Unicorn". Nobody here really is excited with xperia. No love for xperia guys?

The bad, it wont come with UMTS/HSDPA 2100 and 1700. Sorry guys, The new Sony Ericsson wont come with T-Mobile 3G friendly but, it will come with AT&T 3G bands. We don’t have any confirmation about the X1 will be release by T-Mobile USA. However, if that is not the case, you can buy it unlock and use on T-Mobile Network, but without the 3G. There are 2 versions of the Sony Ericsson Xperia, the X1 ( with 2100/1900 and 850 3G for Europe and Australia) and X1a ( with 850, 1900 and 2100 for USA or AT&T)

oh yeahWVGA res. that's like the touch HD. Speaking of the HD, here's a video of Xperia running TF3D that came from the HD ofcourse. since they're both WVGA, the porting is quite easy. The XDA team has done it again.
U can see that TF3D runs quite well. Some claims that it runs better than HTC device itself. U gotta judge for urself. As U can see ,t is on the panel. Very nice and convinient

This phone is gonna be spectacular, but I'm goin with the Touch Pro--32mb more RAM = several more apps running, and much cooler interface for my taste. But still, this is yet another one to pwn the iphone!

htc makes this phone. it also got a quallcomm msm7200 528mhz processor. so we can agps "fix" it using qpst. (important for me)

the d-pad on this phone is way better then the htc diamond or TP d-pad. the its almost like a laptop touchpad. the diamond one seems a bit lacking.

the screen is better.

only thing that sucks is i gota get att now.

I agree. And ATT will have the Fuse which is their version of TP Plus U can get the mighty Iphone! Woohooo. U got more choices there brother.
edit: What I mean by HTC is that the device that came with TF3D out of the box. Yeah, I realize that HTC made Xperia for sony.

No offense to TP users but I really think Xperia will be a better device than TP. If only sprint will have it, I think more people willchoose Xperia rather than the TP. I did not really like the looks of TP.
