Engadget has released a story about an Iphone that is being planned for release on Verizon's network that will run windows mobile. Check it out:

but from the post on engadget it is just a rumor. And of course why would apple even have a phone running windows mobile? That doesn't make a lot of sense to be honest...I'm very skeptical of this
and so is the writer of the article...

And don't forget the exclusivity between Apple and AT&T... Which leads me to wonder why VZW would even bother with Apple when they're offered lifetime exclusivity on the BB Thunder.

read the bottom of the article it says that it does NOT believe this will happen, Engadget is saying ITS NOT TRUE! Read the whole page.

Its definitely just loose talk. If you follow the links further from engadget they break down the scenario further and give better details of why not. The interesting thing here is how such rumors could have been started.

The intersting partis not the article. It's the comments. people will learn a lot of things reading it.
