Unfortunately, as you would see from the video, the X1 desperately cries for some dedicated video acceleration.

im not too thrilled about it now..
i'll just wait for someone here or at xda to port over the "panels" to our phones..
im sure there will be some resolution issue.. i kinda like that clock idea too with the fish swimming underneath.

Honestly, this is the only device I've seen that could get me to go to a side-slider.

About the issues noted:
SE says they are going to enable full hardware acceleration on the device for video. They have said it's not ready yet in the few hands-on previews I've seen.
It was designed by SE, and manufactured by HTC.
