Wink If you wanted SERO but couldnt

I was one of those guys who knew about SERO only recently and was sweating becos my contract was gonna finish only next year. SERO requires a new contract.
Well in comes this "get out of sprint free" card as discussed in the other post. So if you are like me - you wanted in on the SERO plans but couldnt, here is your chance.

basically called *2 and went thru the options to cancel contract. i guess it took me to retention. I asked the about this whole thing about change of contract. first she dint know about it. then she came back and said it is only a reduction in fees and more over these are government taxes and stuff. So this does not qualify as a change of contract. then i had to point out that small other fees they are adding. she went back to talk to someone and came back saying the magic words- "what can we do to keep you from canceling".
Then I told her I had a referral for SERO and wanted to get into SERO plans. She quickly switched me onto it from my next billing cycle.

I have already had some people call and tell me that this process worked from them also. Hope this helps.

Rex

Correct, SERO can not have multiple lines, BUT, You can get a SERO account and then add a line at regular price to the account...

This is what I have right now... Only one plan is SERO, But bolth get my discount for working at bestbuy!

Also: Back when SERO was brand new, I got lucky and had a Regular *2 rep switch my plan over. Had to transfer to retentions so they could activate the unlimited txting though, Just because the rep didn't have the ability to do that at her terminal... (Not like an angry call or anything, just asked them to check my notes, and they took care of it)

I did the same thing. I had my (at the time) $39.99 plan dropped down to a $10/month basic plan. Then I signed up for SERO, and have both phones on the same account. I also (with persistence) was able to port my number from the old account to the new one.

Now I'm just waiting until may for the initial contract to expire. I am also getting my work discount, so by May I should have a nice SERO account for $24.50. I couldn't be happier.

Who said that? I have two lines under my name and both of them had my company discount plus additional monthly credit etc, that translates to less than $24 per with tax and fees included...
