Re: Google imposes 350.00 ETF on top of carriers

It makes sense on new contracts; however i imagine it to be lower for users who were existing tmobile upgrades as they had to pay more for the phone.

I don't see how they can make someone pay $379.00 for the phone and then charge them an ETF of $350.00 making them pay a total of $729 for a phone that costs $529.

My guess is that they have a policy in place that if you cancel the contract you have to pay the difference between the phone price and the subsidized price.

It's really the same price as if you bought the phone at full price and then signed a contract with Tmobile for service then canceled the contract early.

Re: Google imposes 350.00 ETF on top of carriers

Someone else pointed this out and it's a great point, that it's only for 120 days. Plus minus the $35 restocking fee you can return it within x days. At least you can do that.
