Newegg selling HD2 on the 8th!

ETA is January 8th and that gets ya the unlocked HD2 for a low price of $779.99.

This is the Euro-spec right? I think T-Mobile USA uses 1700/2100 MHz for 3G data services.

No thanks, I upgrade my phone as much as I change my underwear ;) . No way I'm going to spend that much for it.

I think just for voice and the slower data services like EDGE etc.

There is not currently a version of the hd2 that uses the 3g bands for us carriers only europe.

ATT 3g bands are 850/1900. The 3g Bands on that phone (UTMS) are 900/2100. That would be an expensive GSM only phone.
