Sprint to announce wimax phone jan 6th?

if they do announce a wimax phone say goodbye to sprint sero eligibility

all of Sprint's GOOD phones require EPRP

I think you will be right, but at the same time every time you talk to anyone about SERO or any other legacy plan, they (sprint CS, sales reps, etc) mention windows mobile phones being allowed on them, for sure. I think it will happen, they most likely will say an everything plan is required, but there will be some serious backlash about it.

As for sprints response to the backlash that would happen:

someone on this fourm told me they have a protype Sprint touch hd 2 with wimax!! but he hasnt dumped the rom, or even posted pics

What would be a ultimate announcement would be Sprint releasing the 1st windows mobile 7 WiMax phone.

Realistically it will be a windows mobile 6.5 device with Wimax and im sure Sprint will wisely make this a SEP phone. This would make alot of people change their plans to get these speeds on a phone (most likely I know I would).

Cant wait.
