I have a Motorola Q9c and my phone is out of warranty, so the Motorola Software Update app will not allow me to install WM 6.1. The reason I want upgrade to 6.1 is because I'm having some issues with my phone and I think 6.1 could possilbly resolve the issue. Does anyone know how I can download and instal Windows Mobile 6.1 without going through the Motorola Software Update app?

Find a program called RSD Lite.
Find a monster flash file that is specific to your carrier. RSD lite can upgrade the phone. Note: You must use a carrier specific monster flash file. |
