I get the messaage that says for security purposes your device cannot access mobile banking. I looked on bofa website, it shows available devices. my xv 6800 is not one of them. now I have a $400.00 text message phone. I read somewhere that someone made there phone say it was a different model to access the website. anyone know if that's possible?

theoretically yes, but you will get no support from bank of america, and if any fraud occurs due to device insecurity or theft you will be liable due to violating the online banking terms of service (e.g. using an incompatible device)

with that out of the way. you can change the identification string in your registry to make it identify as another device such as the 6700, mogul, etc
