gwes.exe error
Is anyone having this error show up on their Sprint Q. I have been testing and it seems to have something to do with synchronization. It doesn't matter if it is direct push server or ActivSync. If I have the iVista theme running on my today screen and soft reset my Q I get the gwes.exe error than the message to send a report. There is on recovering at this point I must do a master reset to get my Q working again. I installed this theme as the only program than ran some tests. The only time that I get this error is after I run ActivSync or sync with the mail2web server. I mean I have only iVista installed everything works fine I can soft reset with no errors, I sync with the server or my laptop I tested both individually and soft reset I get this error. Is my Q defective can someone run some tests and tell me if you are seeing the same thing. I also have gotten this error at other times but nothing consistent. Usually a soft reset corrects things unless I am using iVista

gwes errors sometimes are related to error reporting....try turning that off.

Thanks for the suggestion but that didn't work ether same results I needed a master reset to get things going again. But with the error reporting turned off it gave me an alert saying that a critical component failed to start do to insufficient memory.
Edit: Interesting tho there is a program called jB5 it is a web browser and when I try to install it I get this error but if I turn error reporting off it installs fine. |
use to get that error alot when tring to install the threaded text on every device. i also get it when installing/after installing a prog like tomtom

What I want to know is what dose this have to do with me syncing my information. I can load all the regular programs I am running (11 total) set all my settings, do a soft reset and things work fine. Than I sync my data and next reset I get the error. This is all done while I am testing so I am very systemattic about what I am doing there are no unchanged variables there is a direct relation between this error and data synchronization.
