EVDO hack?
ON my 6700 there is a hack that would phone calls arrive while using EVDO. Is there a similar hack for the Q?
|
The Q should ring through using EVDO out of the box, like any other EVDO device. The reason you needed to hack the 6700 was because HTC messed up the shoftware on the upgrade and post April phones.
Are you having problems with your Q not ringing through? |
I've noticed when I download mail, using the outlook /sms app, i'll sometimes have a voicemail for a call that didn't ring through...
|
If it is only happening once in a while then it may just be a network thing in your area. Hopefully we will get more Q owners around here soon. I may be one, but don't have EVDO live in my area. :(

From SU/Cool6324:
"Ok, by dialing ##33284# Send you get to a menu... Click field test menu, and turn ddtm off. The thing is this setting does not save across a reboot. Enjoy, hopefully someone can make it save." |
Mal you beat me to it, again! I just read that over at SU. :D
|

Does this apply to Verizon as well? I was streaming audio yesterday and a call came through. Although, i thought my gf did say a couple calls went to VM, i assumed she called while i was in the elevator.
NOT COOL. So, it doesn't stick either? Edit: Did some reading, apparently on Vzw makes all of its EVDO devices interrupt the data session linky, so VZw Q users should be in the clear. I hope. |
